It's Nice to Meet Me: Identity Development and Self-Discovery Support Group for Women

Offered by Nourishment Works, It's Nice to Meet Me is an 8-week in-person support group for women who are feeling lost, out of touch with their true selves, or unsure of who they're becoming.

Combining structured activity with open-ended discussion, this group offers peer and professional support for women who are ready to get to know themselves on a deeper level. Whether you're navigating a life transition, feeling disconnected from your values, or simply craving space to reflect and grow, this group creates room for genuine self-discovery in community with others.

What to Expect:

  • Connect with other women facing similar challenges and/or life stages

  • Engage in values-exploration activities

  • Explore the gap between your real and ideal self

  • Identify concrete action steps toward meaningful change

This group is ideal for women ready to sit with questions of identity, values, and selfhood, and to walk away with real tools for building a life that feels more aligned with who they truly are.

Group Format & Topics

The first session will focus on creating safety and trust within the group through connection-based activities. Following sessions will combine psychoeducation, experiential exercises, and group discussion centered on identity and selfhood in recovery. We will close each group with grounding or reflection.

This group is currently being offered in person and is 8 weeks in length. An intake session with the facilitator is required to join. The out-of-pocket cost is $60 per group session. BCBS PPO, Blue Choice PPO, United Healthcare, Aetna, & Medicare plans accepted; check out our insurance page for additional information. Insurance coverage varies by plan.
